We are Terry and Krissy, a husband and wife team based near Dartford in Kent. For nearly two decades we have had the privilege of helping couples travel to their ceremony in timeless style, providing luxury wedding cars across Kent and South East London.

The name Lady R has its own story. When we first purchased our distinctive vermilion red Bentley, its striking colour naturally inspired the phrase “Lady in Red”. The car quickly became known to us as Lady R. Later, when our beautiful white Rolls-Royce joined the fleet, the name Lady R felt perfectly suited to represent the elegance and style of the service we wanted to offer. Today our Rolls-Royce proudly carries the name Lady R, while the Bentley is affectionately known as The Wing Commander, reflecting its bold character and presence.

From the beginning, our aim has always been to offer more than simply wedding car hire. A wedding morning is filled with anticipation, excitement and emotion, and we believe the journey to the ceremony should feel calm, relaxed and beautifully organised.

Over the years Lady R has naturally evolved into the luxury boutique wedding car service you see today. As a female-led, owner-operated business, we remain personally involved in every wedding we attend. We carefully prepare each vehicle ourselves, polishing the cars and dressing them with ribbons chosen to complement each couple’s wedding style.

These days we deliberately limit the number of weddings we accept so that every couple receives the calm, attentive service we believe a wedding day deserves. For us, it has always been about creating an elegant and memorable experience rather than simply providing a car.
