Love was in the air when Holly and Jake tied the knot at Stone Parish Church on Saturday 3rd June 2023.
The happy couple chose our white Rolls Royce as their grand carriage, adorned with elegant lilac ribbons that perfectly complemented the bride. The day was filled with joy, romance and a touch of magic as family and friends gathered to witness the beginning of Holly and Jake’s journey together.
Nestled in our little parish of Stone, St Mary’s Church provided a beautiful backdrop for the couple’s special day. St Mary’s is sometimes dubbed “Little Westminster” and said to be one of the finest churches in Kent. It has stood as a place of regular worship and symbol of the Christian community in Stone since the 13th Century. It serves a parish that extends from the Thames to Watling Street and from Greenhithe Village to the M25. It is also the church where we chauffeured our very first wedding couple back in 2007, so it’s a place we cherish.
Holly arrived at the Church with her ever so proud father, who has lived in this area all his life. The bridegroom forgot the ring and had to return for it, however everyone arrived on time including the bridegroom with a minute to spare which gave the ushers something to tease him about! They will remember that in years to come… and cherish it.
Following the service, the bells tolled and we waited for photographs before transporting the newlyweds to the nearby Claire Tiltman Centre where we imagine Holly, Jake and their guests dancing the night away!
Congratulations to you both on such a joyous occasion which was a pleasure to be part of it and thank you for choosing Lady R Wedding & Chauffeur Hire for your luxury chauffeur driven wedding car. May you both have a wonderful life together.
